Marcus started his training in cardiac science in 2002 at Royal North Shore Hospital Sydney as an ECG Technician. He soon moved into cardiac catheter lab, EP/pacing and then focused in on echocardiography. He was awarded the DMU in 2005.

He returned to NZ and in 2007 undertook further specialised training in paediatric & adult congenital echocardiography at Starship Children’s Hospital in Auckland.

Marcus moved back to Australia in 2011, joining GenesisCare (formely HeartCare Partners) at the Wesley Hospital, before relocating to the Sunshine Coast. He joined Cardionexus in November 2019 and provides echocardiography services to the Sunshine Coast and regional QLD.
