Dru joined CardioNexus in 2021 after completing a Bachelor of Paramedic Science at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in 2020. Throughout his study Dru developed a strong interest in cardiology and a desire to support the community through better health outcomes.

After establishing himself as a key contributor in the Holter Lab, Dru accepted the opportunity to commence echo training in late 2022 and is enrolled in the QUT Graduate Diploma of Cardiac Ultrasound in 2023.
