Ian Kwok

BSc; DMU (Cardiac); ASAR 2294.

With a physiology and genetics degree background (Griffith University), Ian trained at Prince Charles Hospital as a cardiac scientist with emphasis on electrophysiology, implantable devices and echocardiography. He then pursued full time echo scanning duties locally, which lead to working in London, UK. A further eight years saw Ian re-accredit to UK and international proficiency levels (including BSE and NASPExAM – EP).

During this period, brief career changes that complimented clinical work, saw Ian lecture at tertiary level (completed Stage 1 of Dip. Ed.), followed by management. He has worked along-side local (Aus) and international leaders in cardiology, cardiac surgery and radiology at international tertiary centres, private hospitals and consultant clinics.
